Founded in 2005 by the brothers, Mads and Mikkel Kornerup, Shamballa Jewels is a fine jewellery brand dedicated to creating iconic and highly personal jewellery for modern men or women, who are courageous and curious by nature, and in search of experiences that go far beyond luxury. Named after the mythical Himalayan kingdom of Shamballa, Shamballa Jewels unites ancient Eastern philosophy with Nordic design traditions in its jewellery designs. Each piece is imbued with the recurring motif; the Star of Shamballa. It serves as a reminder to live a purposeful life, and empower oneself and others through love, joy, compassion and wisdom – reflected through the four directions of the star. All Shamballa Jewels creations are in 18K gold with diamonds and precious stones, and can be customized bead for bead. Epitome of impeccable craftsmanship they are set, braided and polished by hand in the Copenhagen Atelier, Denmark.


The position:

You will be assisting our teams in marketing, sales, and development on a daily basis.
You will be involved in processes concerning brand positioning and visual guidelines, as well as developing communication material such as ad’s, catalogues, and digital content in alignment with our strategy.

Areas of responsibility:

• Develops style guides in close collaboration with relevant teams to communicate to design team across all distribution channels and platforms.
• Develop design and typography strategies in collaboration with manager that can roll out across all media touch points.
• Manage communication with print production to ensure all retouching and colour corrections are accurate and project specifications are on target.
• Effectively manage workflow and team assignments, from initial direction to team members through execution, to ensure all schedules are met and on time.
• Partner with Marketing/PR/Creative team, Copywriters and Production on developing out-of-the-box ideas for direct mails, visual merchandising, marketing collaterals and the likes, all which support the seasonal creative direction, the brand and meet the marketing and budget objectives.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve document or file issues such as fonts, artwork or other depictions, graphs, tables, etc., and determine best course of action.
• Effectively communicates with design, photo art direction, copywriting and editing teams – written and verbal – to ensure all stay informed.


Profile:

• Experience with visual work/graphic design, photography knowledge is an advantage
• Good understanding of branding and the industry
• Online and up-to-date with newest digital trends
• Knowledge of print and delivering/preparing files to print
• Strong multitasker who knows how to meet deadlines
• Naturally collaborative; able to cultivate strong creative partnership with the design, copy and content team to bring our vision to life
• IT skills: InDesign (super user), Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
• High English proficiency -written and verbal
• Self-motivated, action-oriented, and ambitious with a positive “can-do” attitude
• Strong time management skills with ability to work to meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of print production processes and needs, papers, inks and finishes
