Lead our design team to ensure quality digital design, team spirit and growth

In order to strengthen and further develop our business, we are looking for a Creative team lead with digital design experience for a newly created position. As our new Copenhagen Creative team lead you will have multiple focus areas. One is to engage with clients and ensure successful collaboration and inspire them to continue and grow their engagement with Duckwise. Another is to lead our team of creative designers, spar with them on projects, and maintain an inspiring and professional environment. As Duckwise is part of the Trifork family, and we do most projects in close collaboration, you will also be responsible for continuous alignment with their team leads.

This is who you are:
–An experienced (UI/UX) designer with a deep understanding of the digital design and tech industry
–Have proven experience with people management, preferably from within a creative context
–Able to think in digital concepts and both communicate and visualize ideas with the purpose of inspiring clients
–Have at least 10 years of working experience. It can be from different roles, for example design, project management, account management, team lead, management etc.
–Good at talking to people and have an outgoing and positive personality
–Able to lead different personalities and help people reach their potential
–Up-to-date with industry developments and like to keep your finger on the pulse
–Fluent Danish speaker and have professional working proficiency in English – both spoken and written

We would like you to:
–Ensure good collaboration and alignment with our development partner Trifork around our many joint projects
–Manage successful partnerships with existing clients, to ensure good collaboration and inspire them to continue and grow their engagement with Duckwise
–Lead a creative design team, and be responsible for ensuring a pleasant, professional and creative environment where people are happy to work
–Ensure personal development of the team through conversations, learning and skill development
–Participate in projects with hands-on design work when required
–Spar with the team around designs and ensure challenges in our projects are solved in a good way
–Work closely together with the lead, the developers and project managers from Trifork
–Help us expand our business in the Copenhagen area
–Expect about 15 travel days per year
