Are you our new Communications and Business Development Intern?
Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects is looking for a curious and resourceful full-time intern to join its Business Development and Communications team in Copenhagen. The department is responsible for external relations, press communication, research, and production of materials, and for developing, acquiring and assessing potential projects for Schmidt Hammer Lassen globally. As a member of the Business Development and Communications team, you will be working in a dynamic, international environment in close connection with architects.

We expect that you:
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Are fluent in Danish at a native level and have full professional proficiency in English
Are interested in design, city planning and/or architecture
Have basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Have an independent, organized, proactive and conscientious work style with a great eye for detail
Have the ability to navigate a complex and international environment
Are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication or related studies

Your responsibilities in this position:
Preparation of marketing and communications materials
Preparation of presentations and reference sheets
Assistance with prequalifications
Press monitoring
Market research and analysis
Event planning and execution

When and how
The internship is for the Autumn semester 2019 – approximately from August to January (includes a Christmas holiday). You will work from Pakhus 2 on Njalsgade 17A in Copenhagen S, but the role is company-wide and services all Schmidt Hammer Lassen offices.

Financial support will be provided throughout the internship in accordance with Danish law.

The position requires you to work from the office approximately 37 hours per week between 8.30 and 16.00 with the possibility of flexible working hours scheduled around study activities.
