Beskrivelse

Come join us in our mission to change the Future of Work!

Founded in 2016, we at Forecast are augmenting project-based organizations with intelligent automation so our customers can predict the future, operate at maximum efficiency, and profitably deliver beyond expectations. Our powerful and intuitive AI puts the cumulative skills and learnings from hundreds of thousands of projects to work for every user, every day.

Behind the amazing capabilities of the Forecast platform is a constant and continuously developing design effort - making sure Forecast is delightfully designed, easy to use and has an intuitive feel across the platform is what we do every day.

Are you our new Senior Product Designer?

As a Senior Product Designer at Forecast, you'll participate in building our design system, and work closely together with UX’ers, developers, and managers to ensure that our platform is easy to use, beautiful, satisfying, and efficient for our users. You'll join a product team, which consists of a designer (you), a UX’er, a product manager, and developers. We create software together in cross-functional teams, and each team has real influence on how to work, what to build, and how to interact with customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Designer to join us at a pivotal time at Forecast, as we build for substantial growth. If you have a passion for crafting great user interfaces and you want to leave your mark on the Future of Work, then you’d be a great fit for our team! In short, you will have a big impact in shaping delightful products, assets, and features that will come to represent us. You’ll be involved in every step of the process from strategic concept design to hands on development of all aspects of Forecast products.

Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for someone skilled, passionate and collaborative, who loves designing, discussing design and design interactions, and can think through all the details of a new design while still having the overview to see the big picture. You like to include stakeholders in your work, and you enjoy teamwork. You can bring your own design skills in play, and can argue for your design decisions and the general design direction. You can handle feedback from cross-functional groups, and you can incorporate it into current and future work.

What you’ll do:

Design our digital product and experiences in different fidelities and for different purposes
Have responsibility for the look & feel of current and future features so they’re visually appealing, simple, easy to understand, learn, and use - you'll be a champion in keeping the designs streamlined across the platform
Develop concepts and designs in collaboration with UX’ers, developers, managers, and other designers in an agile process
Obsess about our users and what their problems are - before they've even noticed them!
Work iteratively based on data, customer input, feedback, and new learnings
Deliver final designs in all states: Responsive, pixel perfect designs for the engineering team to build
Participate in updating and maintaining the design system
Understand and champion user problems in product teams
Own and develop the design process in a team from research and conceptualization to final design and implementation in the product
Support in maintaining our design system and making sure it's always up to date

Ideally you'll have:

5+ years of design (UI) experience, with the majority in designing software products - with B2B products as an advantage
Experience from working in an agile and iterative product development team. Including experience working with engineers
Good at receiving and giving feedback
A natural eye for minimal design and good composition, and with a passion for detail and delighting users
Understanding of Human-centered design, product interactions, and design systems
Excellent written/verbal communication skills —  you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions
Strong knowledge of usability principles and building design systems
Understanding of basic transition animations
Team player approach, including others in your design process and ideas

To apply:

Please send us your CV, a link to your portfolio, and a short application. In your application, include at least one example of a digital product you have worked on and how you created this design (in less than 250 words)
